Audrée’s eye for beauty and design started when she was a child. She fondly recalls rearranging the living room furniture with her mother and sister, carefully styling the coffee table and mantel, and adjusting the lamps throughout the house to create just the right atmosphere. With a father who was a photographer, lighting was always central—she remembers the halogen track lights he positioned strategically to highlight photographs or a special piece of furniture.

She also speaks about her love for Nancy Meyers’s films. Among them, Something’s Gotta Give holds a very special place in her heart. The film became a true source of inspiration—not only for the design of her own home but also for many of her other projects.

When designer Audrée Kemp Bélanger of AKB Design set out to refresh her home, her vision was rooted in calm elegance, layered textures, and timeless forms. Serene and sculptural, the Nottaway Chandelier is a quiet showstopper in the primary bedroom.

Its slender arms and burnished bronze finish add architectural interest without overpowering the room’s neutral palette.

Every detail matters—especially in the bathroom. The Classic No.1 Wall Sconce adds golden warmth and vintage-inspired charm, mounted against floral wallpaper and paired with marble and wood finishes.
