About Julie:

An ambitious wife to Jeff Petry, mother of three adorable boys, and co-founder to Line Change, Julie gives her all to everything she puts her mind to.  Her fashion forward clothing line is redefining the female sports fan while giving back to the community.

When it comes to hobbies, Julie dabbles in a little of everything. She loves cooking and even started gardening this past summer. Her whole family enjoyed cooking the food they grew! Julie also has a love for interior design and decor. She loves playing around with ideas and dreaming up what she wants to do in the rooms in their homes.

A decade of love between Julie and her NHL star husband has taken them on some journeys. The lifestyle of being part of the hockey lifestle can make settling in a new city quite challenging. Julie finds that the sweet spot  is about three years to start feeling ingrained in the community and to really feel at home. Sometimes, you don’t get three years when your husband could be traded to another team at any moment. Having a sense of community and finding your people make it much easier.

"You don't always get three years when your husband could be traded to another team at any moment. We've been very lucky."

Julie and her family have recently moved into new homes in both Montreal and Michigan. She finds that her interior design style is very split. Their home in Michigan is modern-farmhouse and her favourite room is the kitchen. She laid the space out to be welcoming and kid-friendly while creating a space that allows her to cook and entertain with ease.

"Some fixtures just speak for themselves.”

In Montreal they have a 1920’s victorian style house, full of character and intricate details. Their living room has beautiful windows facing the front yard of their quaint neighbourhood and a gorgeous marble mantle around their fireplace that adds so much character.

We loved getting a sneak peek into Julie's home! This really woman does it all: keeping two beautiful homes while creating designs for her clothing line definitely shows how ambitious she is. We can't wait to see more from Julie! ♡

The clothing line Julie co-runs, Line Change, officially launched in the middle of the pandemic, but had been in the works for years prior. They had designed merchandise for female fans of the Montreal Canadians and quickly sold out. Women were sick of wearing ill-fitting, too-much-pink sports wear and Line Change changed the game. The word travelled through the NHL and there were requests for the same types of clothing, but for more teams. Julie knew that women had been waiting for someone to come along and make clothing for women that made them feel stylish while repping their team, so they took the plunge and Line Change was created and had been thriving since!
