A classic weave, a new shape. The Chilewich Bamboo Oval Placemat is woven to resemble natural bamboo, but is actually made out of durable TerraStrand vinyl yarns. These yarns make the mat easy to clean and ensure color-fastness for the long term. The unique oval shape is an unexpected element on a square or rectangular dining table.


For over a decade, New York based designer Sandy Chilewich has been creating original and innovative vinyl products for the home. Her woven, tufted, molded and spun textiles are available in a range of vibrant and neutral hues that have become synonymous with the Chilewich brand name.
