About Alexis Koehler
Alexis Koehler is the Founder and Principal Designer of Alexis Koehler Interiors, a Toronto-based full-service residential design studio. Alexis believes that a home should be designed for personal well-being, and that creating one begins with listening—understanding the people who live there, how their household moves, and what makes them feel at home. Inspired by historic architecture & enduring craftsmanship, Alexis’ work brings together natural materials, living finishes, thoughtful layers, found pieces, and hand-crafted furnishings to create homes that feel comfortable & collected with a sense of permanence.
Design Philosophy
For Alexis, design begins with listening—understanding how people live and what makes them feel at home. Inspired by historic architecture and enduring craftsmanship, she brings together natural materials, thoughtful layers, and handcrafted pieces to create spaces that feel personal, comfortable, and timeless.
